CANCER HEAD SCARVES FAQs

Undergoing chemotherapy treatment is a whole new learning process.  Whether you want to know more about our range of head scarves for cancer patients, or if you want us to make something unique for you, we have tried to take the stress out of ordering by adding a few commonly asked questions and answers here to help you.

Do You Have A Brochure?

Because we are an online business, our chemo hats are best viewed online where you can view multiple images and angles of our products. However, we do have some printed material made available for hospitals, hospices and care centres for cancer patients to take away with them. Should you want to display our leaflets, please contact us and we will be happy to send a pack out to you.

What Should I Do If I Want To Return An Item?

We operate a strict 14 day returns policy if you are not satisfied with your chemo hats.

All we ask is that you contact us at hello@chemotherapyheadwear.com to notify us of your return, then return your chemo headwear in the packaging they arrived in, along with a copy of your delivery note and a reason for the return. All returns should be unworn and will be inspected upon receipt. This does not affect your statutory rights.

I Have Received The Wrong Item, What Should I Do?

Unfortunately as human beings, we sometimes make mistakes. Should you find that you have received the wrong item, please contact us immediately at hello@chemotherapyheadwear.com and we will ask you to return the incorrect product and we will replace it for you and reimburse the postage fees for the incorrect item.

How Do I Contact You?

You can contact a member of Chemotherapy Headwear via our  Contact Us link located in the top right hand side of our webpage. Our contact details are also on the Terms and Conditions documents at point of ordering or you can fill in the contact form on the home page.

Do I Have To Place My Order Online?

We do not currently have a store, but you can visit our workshop in Brockenhurst, New Forest by appointment only.  We also make visits to various Macmillan Centres and Hospitals around the country. If you would like to place an order for cancer hats or chemo head scarves over the phone, please call us on 07810542602 and we can process that for you. Alternatively, pop into our workshop in the New Forest but please note, visits are by appointment only because it is not open to the public every day.  If you would like a video call to go through the range and see how each item can be worn, please get in touch to book a time that works for you.

What Are Your Delivery Charges?

Our postage fees are a flat rate of £2.00 per order. All orders will be sent via 1st Class Royal Mail, delivery charges are not refundable should you wish to return your goods. Unfortunately we do not ship to the USA or Canada from this website but you can purchase our products on Etsy for these regions.

The Item I Want Is Out Of Stock.  What Can I Do?

If any of our chemo hats are out of stock, we should be getting more in shortly, but if you are unsure and want to check when they will be in stock, please call or contact us via our online form and let us know which item you are interested in so we can give you a more accurate date for delivery.

When Will My Refund Be Processed?

Once you have returned your chemo headwear, we will process your refund on the day we receive your chemo hat back, however some banking systems take a few days to clear the funds, so its best to wait 5 working days and then check your account to see if the money has been refunded. We will refund your order back into the account you used to pay for it.

When Will My Order Be Processed?

We aim to ship all goods within 3 working days of receiving your order but they are usually sent out within 24hours via Royal Mail 1st Class post.  We do understand that this can be a very trying time for you so if there is an urgent need, please contact us and we will expedite your delivery. 

Can You Send My Order As A Gift?

If you are buying a hat or headscarf for a cancer patient as a gift and you do not want us to insert your receipt into the parcel, please let us know via the notes section upon checkout.  We can gift wrap items for free upon request and we will also insert a personalised message if you want to include one in the parcel.

Are Your Products Unique?

We design all our chemotherapy headwear products in house and select fabrics from a wide range of suppliers here in the UK.  All chemo hats are manufactured in the UK by hand to high quality standards.  You should not find the same products as ours elsewhere although there are lots of websites selling sleep hats online.  We do advise to be cautious when selecting the right chemo hat for your needs, some of the cheaper beanies are very tight and not very flattering so if you want to wear them during the day, you may feel a bit self conscious wearing a tight "skull cap" style offered by some competitor websites.
